Because of time constraints and workload issues, College Relations & Marketing will be adjusting our workflow when it comes to campus event posters.
We must enforce a strict six week request lead-in for posters. Anything underneath that limit cannot be completed by your event deadline.
Some easy-to-use sample templates are available at washcoll.edu/CRMtemplates. These require InDesign via the Adobe Creative Cloud to use; the Help Desk can assist you in installing the proper software.
We will be able to offer one-on-one training on how to best use the templates for your events. Please contact Michael O’Connor to make arrangements. There is also an excellent tutorial available at lynda.com (http://bit.ly/1IDjJvh) introducing all of the basic functions within InDesign that you’d need to create event posters.
We will also require a strict single revision rule for posters requests, meaning that only one round of revisions to both copy and design can be accommodated after the initial submission. Please review all of your submitted materials ahead of schedule, making sure your event information is both correct and concise.
All work requests are still made the CRM Service Request Gateway.
Posters and other materials will be delivered to the requester. At this time CRM does not provide poster-hanging services.
