Financing Your Education

We want to make Washington College affordable for every bright and deserving student who dreams in black and maroon.

We know every family’s prospect of paying for college tuition is influenced by varying levels of financial resources, and that family circumstances can change from year to year. Are you sending triplets off to college?  Is one parent recently unemployed? The staff in our Office of Student Financial Aid strive to accommodate various economic situations, and will help create a manageable financial aid packet that incorporates loans, payment plans, and merit- and need-based scholarships.

Students and their families may choose from several financing options, including parent and student loans, prepaid tuition, private scholarships, and student employment. Visit the Office of Student Financial Aid for a full rundown of financing options, and please feel free to call us at 410-778-7214 or email us at fa_office@washcoll.edu if you have additional questions.

International students can find more information here.

Financial Aid Counseling

All applicants will be sent information regarding the need-based aid application process. Questions regarding need-based financial aid can be directed to your admissions counselor.
